Having registered and gotten email conformation, you are eligible to buy and make bids through a penny auctions. Every auction begins with a minimum bid that is preset. It can be as low as one penny. Every bid after that has to be in increments of the same amount as the opening bid.

Each person who makes a bid extends the time the bidding can be done in. As the bidding begins to slow down, there is less time left for a bid to be placed. The lucky winner is the one who places the last bid at the time the clock runs out.

Even considering the fees and the bids, more often than not, there are immense savings to be had. Be forewarned that these auctions are quite addictive and you will find yourself returning again and again.
